You will be responsible for the team working with you in the warehouse as their direct supervisor. So your first task will be to introduce your colleagues to the new workplace. You will introduce them to the company's rules, health and safety guidelines and work regulations. The next step will be the so-called workstation instruction, i.e. training to perform work (scanner operation, an operation of the PBV system - pick by voice or other devices depending on the specificity of the workplace).
Once the employees have completed the training and are able to work independently, you can focus on their other duties. Don't forget, however, that you are still responsible for the quality of their work and cleanliness and order in the warehouse.
In addition to working in the warehouse, it will be your daily duties to control the presence of employees and to respond appropriately if someone leaves the working day without excuse.
As supervisor of a group of employees, you will also create and update work schedules and inform employees about any changes and plan replacements for absent employees to ensure smooth teamwork.
Employee interviews, including motivational and disciplinary interviews, will also be an important part of your work.
In order to ensure your comfort of work, you will receive from hrXP a business computer with a printer. Thanks to this you will be able to create and send reports of your team's work, as well as it will facilitate your contact with other departments of hrXP. You will also receive a business phone - not only to perform your tasks but also for private use, thanks to which you will be in constant contact with your loved ones in Poland.
As part of the additional bonuses, apart from remuneration, you will receive from us a partial refund of accommodation costs. Employee accommodation is of a good standard and is always equipped with internet access.
In addition, hrXP will provide you with appropriate work clothes, which will enable you to perform your tasks comfortably, safely and comfortably.
Every manager receives a handbook from the company which provides detailed information about the work in Germany. It has the advantage of providing detailed information on the responsibilities of each member of your team. So if you have questions about employee issues, you can look at the instructions at any time and support yourself with the knowledge they contain.
On behalf of hrXP you manage the project, so from the very beginning, you are responsible for all employees. As a representative of the company, it is your job to welcome new employees upon arrival and to ensure that all formalities are in place, such as signing the documents necessary for hiring and instructions on the applicable work regulations.
Once the new employees have been accommodated, you will support them in the process of registering and completing all official formalities, as well as handing over the Steuer ID of each employee to the accounting department. During the registration process, you will provide the owner of the accommodation with the personal data of the people who will live there. This is necessary in order to be able to issue a "Wohnungsgeberbestätigung" (certificate from the landlord), which you will have to present to the office when completing the registration formalities.
It is important that you support your subordinate employees at every stage during their stay in Germany, and therefore help them to deal with everyday matters (such as interpreting during a visit to a doctor).
You will be assisted in the management of your subordinate team by foremen, with whom you are jointly responsible for project implementation, quality of work and all organizational issues through Operations Manager.
You will also be responsible for providing the financial department with the relevant documents necessary for the payment of advances and salaries.
It will also be your responsibility to react immediately in the event of accidents at or on the way to the workplace.
As the person responsible for the project, you will support the Operations Manager in finding accommodation for employees near the workplace. According to the rules and regulations, you will also carry out audits of your accommodation, checking and documenting its condition.
Just like a foreman, you'll get the tools you need, such as a business computer with a printer and a business phone. As a supplement to your salary, you will also receive a refund for your accommodation. A company car will also be an important and indispensable tool in your work, which will allow you to perform your duties in a comfortable and efficient way.
